All rentals include $7.00 maintenance and replacement fee. Two (2) years of rental goes toward instrument purchase.

RENTAL F.A.Q.s:

WHAT DO I NEED TO OBTAIN A RENTAL INSTRUMENT?

In order to rent an instrument, you will need to fill out the contract below or in person at the store. To do this, we need to see a valid driver's license or state ID and a major credit card (or proof of some sort of local credit - i.e. car loan, home mortgage, etc.)--all your personal information is kept completely secure and offline. You will also need to pay for the first three (3) months of the rental.

FOR HOW LONG AM I OBLIGATED TO RENT THE INSTRUMENT?

For the first three (3) months only. After that, we will automatically deduct the next three (3) months rental from your credit card, or if requested, we will send a bill to your home address. The rental continues until the instrument is returned and contract cancelled.

IS A MAINTENANCE & REPLACEMENT FEE INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL?

Yes. The maintenance and replacement fee is $7.00 of the rental fee for all instruments. This covers the instrument for loss, theft, and any repairs (but does not include wearables such as reeds, strings, oil, rosin, etc.).

WHAT IF THE INSTRUMENT NEEDS REPAIR?

If the instrument does require repair, bring it to A-major Music and we will take care of it. A loaner instrument can be provided free of charge if needed and available.

IS ANY OF THE RENTAL PRICE GOING TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF THE INSTRUMENT?

Yes. One hundred percent (100%) of the rental price - that's the price of the instrument minus the $7.00 maintenance and replacement fee - is accumulated as credit towards an instrument for the two years (24 months) of the rental.

DO I HAVE TO BUY THE INSTRUMENT I AM RENTING?

No. The rental credit you build up goes toward any instrument in that rental category - new or used - that we have available. However, you may certainly purchase the instrument you rent if you wish.

WHAT IF I WANT TO STOP RENTING THE INSTRUMENT?

Should you decide you no longer wish to rent the instrument, simply return it to A-major Music. This will effectively end the rental agreement. There are NO refunds on rentals.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY RENTAL CREDIT WHEN I RETURN MY INSTRUMENT?

Returning the rental instrument terminates the contract and nullifies all of the credit you have accumulated up to that point.

ONLINE RENTAL AGREEMENT:


This certifies that I have leased from A-major Music, Inc. the below described instrument for a period of three (3) months. Time is of the essence of this agreement. Instruments not returned on or before the lease expiration date shall be automatically renewed for another lease period as stated above, and the same lease amounts shall be due and payable within ten (10) days of the renewal date. The credit card on file will be charged the due amount unless other arrangements are made. All parts and accessories must be returned with the instrument or paid for.


Option to purchase: Rental paid will apply to purchase of any size of the same kind of instrument outfit according to the following schedule: 100% of all lease payments actually made within the first two years shall apply to purchase. Deliquency of payments in excess of sixty (60) days voids all option to purchase privileges and maintenance agreement.


The title to this instrument shall remain with A-major Music, Inc. unless purchased by customer. In the event the rent is not paid, A-major Music, Inc. shall receive return of the instrument.


If A-major Music, Inc. files suit for return of the instrument and/or for unpaid rental or for damages to the instrument, customer shall be liable for reasonable attorneys fees and costs of suit.


In event customer defaults in payment of any sum due hereunder, interest shall be paid by customer from date of default at highest rate permitted by law.


There are no verbal agreements or warranties in this transaction. Return of instrument cancels contract and voids purchase option. No refunds on rental or maintenance fees.
